A war crime isn't a war crime if it's sanctioned by the U.S. Congress (because the U.S. is powerful, and the powerful make up the rules - they're not by some moral god. Such a double standard exists at all levels. The survival of the fittest is the law that governs this short existence. Conscious animals as we are, we won't do anything to change that law.)
